Job Description

The Finance Manager (Finance Business Partner for Respiratory Business Unit) will be responsible for providing business partnership to RESP (Respiratory) Global BU leadership team for a ~$400M revenue-generating growing global business. The incumbent will possess the ability to 1) manage full P&Ls at the global basis, 2) provide the business partnership to senior business leaders to drive sustainable and profitable growth, 3) monitor and achieve key financial milestones for potential acquisitions and/or internally-developed product launches through developing financial processes and financial models at the global level, 4) create short-term and long-term P&L forecasting, and 5) lead complex projects cross-functionally and globally. 

Job Duties

  • Partner with RESP Business Unit Leaders to drive profitable and sustainable growth by providing clear P&L and operational visibility and implementing the financial processes globally to allow the proper evaluation and monitor of the key initiatives to help achieve Business Unit’s short-term and long-term priorities, including but not limited to:
  • Develop long-term P&L forecasting based on existing business performance along with the future expectations from investment strategies
  • Lead the annual budget, target setting, quarterly and monthly rolling forecast processes
  • Develop and monitor the monthly KPIs and provide the insights/recommendations to BU leadership teams to help achieve short-term and long-term financial and strategic targets.
  • Drive Budget/Forecast accuracy and completeness by implementing proper process and tool.
  • Support expansion of IBP process in partnership with SCM specific to RESP
  • Drive the mitigation plan with Global Business Units Leaders in case of foreseen shortfall vs. short term or long term financial commitments
  • Manage RESP P&L in close partnership with Regional and Cross-Functional Finance teams. 
  • Monitor and achieve key financial milestones for potential acquisition and/or internally-developed product launches through developing financial processes and financial models at the global level, specifically
  • Drive monthly review of key financial metrics aligned with Global BU by developing the process/tool to enable global view
  • Provide guidance and assistance to relevant regions and functions in terms of the effective approach to manage expenses and provide the visibility
  • Enable performance tracking against key acquisition targets and drive the mitigation plan with Global BU leaders in case of foreseen shortfall 
  • Develop forecasts and annual budget as part of overall RESP forecast and budget process 
  • Proactively increase rigor and enhance processes to create standardization, efficiency, and better global communication, in partnership with RESP BU and Finance teams at both global and regional levels
  • Lead and/or assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant financial experience, preferably in a large global company with matrix organization
  • Must have strong PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Must possess sound financial management competence and business acumen. 
  • Must have experience supporting senior business partners
  • Must have experience in managing full P&Ls, preferably global in nature
  • Must have experience in building comprehensive financial models
  • Must have experience in budget, forecast and strategic planning
  • Employs strong written, verbal and visual presentation communication skills
  • Values and establishes effective interpersonal relationships across company
  • Exudes obsessive commitment to data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness; detail oriented

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $103,779.00 - $145,290.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
