Job Description

The QARA BD Support Window Person is responsible for strategic and tactical functional support for business development projects. This important role is a key partner to the global BD team, ensuring that the QARA functional perspective is embedded in Diligence and Integration efforts.

Job Duties

* Serve as a global liaison between QARA and the BD team.

 

* Resource planning and intra-QARA coordination: provide updates to Executive Director in order to maintain an up-to-date view of all projects in the business development pipeline.

 

* Assist Executive Director with planning project-specific functional support by estimating timing and resource requirements.

 

* Assist Executive Director with communicating and coordinating resource needs with regional QARA functional leadership to obtain adequate project support at global and regional levels.

 

* Tool & Process Development and Continuous Improvement: Provide input on the tools and standard operating processes necessary to support QARA efforts throughout the full business development cycle (pre deal through integration), including ownership of assigned deliverables.

 

* Functional and Regional Alignment: coordinate with global and regional QARA teams to ensure project- specific efforts are aligned, obtain approvals, and assign resources.

 

* Take responsibility for all QARA aspects of each business development project by a) conducting or overseeing due diligence and integration activities, b) building a functional plan for each project to ensure that functional risks are identified and actions are planned, and c) securing necessary approvals from QARA functional/regional leadership for due diligence reports and integration strategy/plans.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor's degree in STEM minimum.

 

* Minimum of 10 years in Quality/Regulatory discipline, medical device and/or related industries.

 

* Some travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.

 

* Hours include communication with Business Partners in Europe, Japan, Asia, as project needs.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across cultures and personality types.

 

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to quickly distil complex information into actions/recommendations.

 

* Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
