Job Description

The Senior Demand and Supply Chain Planner will own selected supply processes, lead initiatives and the execution of key tasks required for effective supply chain management. They will proactively work to improve KPIs and work with other areas to resolve supply issues as well as develop and maintain business processes to ensure effective and compliant performance

The Senior Demand and Supply Chain Planner will also be responsible for ensuring high service level to customers for products s/he manages

Job Duties

* Represent the Supply Chain planning team as planning Subject Matter Expert(SME) for projects.

 

* Drive or support continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency for Supply Chain planning group by optimizing system setup, business processes and group reporting.

 

* Function as process owner and SME for Supply Chain planning processes, performing training as required.

 

* Coordinate with Global planning team for rolling out global planning initiatives.

 

* Drive/coordinate regional planning activities implementation.

 

* Champion utilization of planning system to achieve business goals. Drive continuous improvements and function as SME as needed.

 

* Collaborate with regional marketing and finance to update forecast based on market intelligence and product life cycle.

 

* Ensure high customer service level by projecting potential supply shortages and expedite delivery with manufacturing/suppliers to avoid backorder.

 

* Verify Net Requirements changes with downstream demand planners. Reconcile imbalances between Global Net Requirements and production capacity to ensure product supply.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor’s degree required. APICS certification and Master preferred.

 

* Minimum of  5 tp 7 Years’ experience in demand planning and/or supply network planning.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Experience utilizing ERP systems, Oracle/SAP/Rapid Response.

 

* Expert at utilizing statistical forecasting software.

 

* Strong Spreadsheet, database, powerpoint and BI Reporting system skills.

 

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
