Job Description
The Product Manager is directly responsible for current and future products that are core differentiators to the Olympus Surgical Endoscopy product portfolio. The role will manage core products within the Flexible Endoscopy, Cardiothoracic, and Airway portfolios, driving a highly visible product launch and working with cross-functional and global counterparts on the expansion of the product category.
Job Duties
- Drive product adoption in key accounts
- Develop and execute product launch plan (including targeting segmentation)
- Develop relationships with strategic HCPs to understand market trends and develop product champions
- Partner with Professional Education and Medical Affairs to drive clinical strategy for product category
- Creation of marketing collateral to highlight clinical and economic benefits of product category within the surgical space
- Create and implement tactics that support the marketing strategies to include pricing positioning programs and promotions that are in line with the strategic business plan
- Develop clinical value proposition for product category
- Partner with professional societies on key initiatives that align with our business strategy
- Support national trade shows and related marketing events to highlight differentiated technology
- Other essential duties as directed
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree, MBA highly preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in product management (or related field) for medical products preferably imaging surgical devices or a General Surgery related product.
- Experience with marketing technical products including pricing positioning forecasting marketing to multiple stakeholders including the C-level IDNs GPOs.
- Experience working directly with HCPs & societies to develop value propositions and drive commercial activity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines develop new processes and drive them to completion.
- Travel up to 30%

- Clinical Background and understanding of Surgical Procedures preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image and strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated confident individual with outstanding communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Results oriented individual with a track record of meeting established goals and expanding market share.
