Job Description

The Procurement Performance & Process Manager supports the global and regional Procurement Team by data analyses, development of comprehensive KPIs, reports and dashboards as well as standardization and implementation of procurement processes.

This role defines and monitor KPIs, understands the data source, has a deep knowledge about implemented software and IT systems and can transfer complex information in simple and meaningful presentations. Additionally, this role creates and standardize procurement processes in close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders from multiple functions (e.g. Supplier Quality) and act as regional contact person for internal/external audits.

Job Duties

•    Identification, selection, definition and calculation of global and regional procurement KPIs
•    Continuous development and improvement of procurement KPIs, IT systems and reports
•    Creation of comprehensive dashboards, reports and presentations including detailed knowledge about data source and aggregation
•    Coordination of procurement IT changes and implementation of new procurement software solutions
•    Creation, updating and standardization of procurement processes in close collaboration with Supplier Quality and other functions
•    Training of regional colleagues regarding standardized processes and monitoring of procurement processes (Process Controlling)
•    Leading regular meetings with international and cross-functional stakeholders for monitoring procurement performance
•    Support and attend on internal/external audits as procurement representative and ensure that processes are in line with regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 13485)

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
  • 3+ years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management
  • Advanced skills in Excel (e.g. complex formulas, Pivot tables, formatting, VBA - preferred)
  • Excellent skills in Power Point (e.g. visualizations, formatting, slide master, storytelling)
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL and/or VBA would be an advantage
  • Strategic mind-set and hands-on approach
  • Ability to condense and present complex information to different management levels with meaningful reports and presentations
  • Business fluent English in written and spoken

Preferred:

  • Experience in performance management and/or process management is preferred
  • Experience in a MedTech company or related industries is preferred
  • Knowledge about databases in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP) is preferred

Other Considerations:

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $101,749.00 - $142,448.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
