Job Description

The role of the Finance Business Partner is to pair pro-actively with the Business Units and Business Functions to deliver customer value and drive for results. This role is grounded on proximity, business and finance expertise, advance analytics, interpersonal maturity and organizational savvy.

Job Duties

* Lead the monthly/quarterly financial reporting (global P&L and balance sheet) and the master data process for TSD.

    • Prepare monthly and quarterly management review decks.
    • Provide analysis of MTD, QTD and YTD performance.
    • Prepare and analyze sales results per global sales database; Pair with the business partners to improve this process.
    • Consolidate new business (acquisition/inorganic) results at the global basis.

 

* Support the monthly rolling forecast, quarterly forecast and annual budget process.

    • Prepare the rolling forecast template.
    • Assist the preparation of the quarterly forecast and annual budget guidance,  consolidate various input from regions and perform the variances analysis.
    • Prepare the standard budget/forecast review decks.
    • Provide supply chain team (SCM) with the proper data to assist SCM process improvement.

 

* Support the process improvement of TSD’s global financial long range planning (LRP).

    • Prepare legacy sales template by tier3 and consolidate various input from BUs.
    • Co-ordinate with Global supply chain team (SCM) on LRP of non strategic tier 3 products.
    • Revamp LRP financial models per the team's recommendations.
    • Build a solid understanding of PPM data structure that houses new product development financials and connection to LRP.
    • Prepare the standard LRP review decks

 

* Provide business partnership to owners of the global TSD cost center through reporting, forecasting and budget process.

    • Own the monthly accrual process and perform the related analysis/reporting.
    • Work with the peer to support the forecast and budget of various cost centers.
    • Upload the forecast/budget to Hyperion; Provide variance analysis.
    • Coordindate with various region/tax teams on xcharge items.

 

* Perform various ad hoc requests at the needed basis.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Finance/Accounting degree with 2-5 years' related experience.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Advanced Excel modelling.

 

* Strong Database knowledge (access, powerBI, etc) and querying/pivoting skills.

 

* Familiar with Hyperion/ SAP is ideal; but can be trained.

 

* Attention to details, adaptable to fast paced environments,  efficient, continuous process improvement mindset.
