Job Description

The Senior Infrastructure Manager (IT Service Continuity Manager) is responsible for demonstrating organizational resilience through developing, managing, testing and overseeing robust Business Continuity plans and procedures across the global organization. The role will support all business plan activities necessary to enable the organization to manage a crisis event as well as meet compliance requirements for Business Continuity Planning. This role will work closely with BRM, Solution Delivery and other IT teams to design and evolve the strategy and roadmap within their domain and deliver the architecture principles to support design and implementation.

Job Duties

 * Develop and maintain standards and procedures for disaster recovery and business recovery documentation as required.


* Monitor the effectiveness of procedures during evacuation drills and revise procedures as necessary.


* Provide guidance to and manage the efforts of staff members in the development of recovery procedures for key areas of the organization.


* Manage quarterly reviews of changes in resources with the management of those areas to assure the effectiveness of recovery procedures and back-up capabilities.


* Establish disaster recovery testing methodologies, plans and coordinate the testing of recovery support.


* Assure recovery procedures are effective for the restoration of key corporate resources and for the resumption of critical business processes.


* Provide support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of the Business Recovery or Disaster Recovery plans.


* Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the business recovery and disaster recovery plans.


* Develop project plans including requirements, risks, schedule, testing.


* Develop emergency response procedures, distributes and updates emergency procedures to reflect changes in staff size, location, organization, and office facilities.


* Other responsibilities / duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).


* Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Business Continuity Manager/ IT Service Continuity Manager in an environment similar in size and complexity to Olympus.


* Minimum 5 years of IT work experience.


* ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 framework foundation qualification.




* Broad experience in other IT disciplines, e.g. solution architecture, software engineering, business analysis, product delivery, process modelling, data modelling and systems analysis.


* In-depth knowledge of working with business processes of the assigned domain, preferably in medical related fields.


* Experience of working at all levels of an organization, from operational to senior management levels.


* Business Continuity Management practices and protocols, including in-depth knowledge of international BCM standards promoted by BCI and DR. and ISO. A strong understanding of Operational risk and resilience, Business Process improvement methods as well as risk related control frameworks and practices (COCO, COSO, ISO, ITIL, CMM, COBIT, etc.)


* Demonstrable business and tech acumen.
