Job Description

As a Global Senior Manager working for the Olympus Digital Health (DH) business, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. We are seeking a Senior Product Business Manager to join the Olympus Digital Health (ODH) team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the successful commercial launch, penetration, and profitability of our Artificial Intelligence / Computer Aided Detection product vertical within the ODH solution portfolio.

 

Job Duties

 

 

  • Develop and implement strategies for successful product launches and profitability.

  • Lead the creation and justification of the product roadmap based on user requirements and market intelligence.

  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), IT experts, and internal teams to shape digital health products.

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitive forces, and disruptive technologies in the product vertical.

  • Serve as a global evangelist for our digital health solutions and strategy.

  • Contribute to new product discovery and prioritization efforts, collaborating with global and regional marketing colleagues.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand market needs and use Voice of the Customer insights in product development.

  • Collaborate with technical and marketing teams on product lifecycles and artifacts.

  • Champion a strong product vision backed by market and competitive data.

  • Identify and recommend technology and strategic partners for product enhancement.

  • Forge strong relationships with global Go-to-Market teams for successful market entries.

  • Track and understand business performance metrics to ensure success.

  • Provide product functionality and positioning information to the Marketing team.

  • Participate in external events, thought-leadership activities, and tenders/RFPs.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • All other tasks as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a STEM discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of successful product management, including 3 years AI solutions or healthcare software. 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams with autonomy and influence.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical jargon and communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Track record of commercial success, particularly in fast-paced product delivery environments.
  • Strong analytical ability and financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally, 25%-35%.

 

Preferred:

  • Masters in Business Administration
  • Experience with various commercial models, P&L, and business case development for software/cloud applications and platforms.
  • Healthcare IT/MedTech industry experience, especially in AI, machine learning, and clinical informatics.
  • Familiarity with medical procedures and clinical workflows in relevant specialties.
  • Experience leading products to commercial success in global, complex environments.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions with incomplete information.
  • Tolerance for ambiguity and a passion for rapid business evolution.
