Job Description

The Financial Analyst III  serves a key role within the OSTA by providing strategic analytical support to management across the organization. This individual will be required to collaborate cross functionally to help implement strategic plans devise financial modelling and profitability analysis perform budgeting / forecasting develop KPI's and metrics and ensure business performance management.

Job Duties

* Work with functional leaders to develop and design strategic goals / objectives and the related financial and operational projections.


* Collaborate with managers by providing analysis tools that will allow functional areas to evaluate and choose between tactical options define measures of success and the related target metrics and KPI's and provide reporting and analysis as to results.


* Support the development of business plans for new products and operations programs and support the development of strategic plans for either new or existing departments business units etc.


* Assess the current market calculate ROI and identify any existing strengths that can be leveraged or weaknesses that need to be overcome.


* Assist in providing sophisticated analytical and modeling solutions to design and implement data and reporting solutions to meet both short term and long term needs of the business.


* Partner in producing what-if analysis to determine how to improve profitability for all OSTA business centers and sites.


* Support M&A activity if warranted. Build and maintain sophisticated distributed cash flow analysis models.


* Model the impact of various growth product mix or operational changes on plant needs and capacity.


* Support development of summary communication materials for executive level and board presentations as requested.


* Prepare and validate a number of planning projects and reports with emphasis on researching our competitors to find trends and best practices that would be best fit to our company.


* Assist project teams perform financial modeling to facilitate investment decisions validate financial data and work to forecast and control and project spend.


* Proactively identify & communicate risks & opportunities in all financial measurements.


* Provide ad hoc analytical support as needed.

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting or Economics required.


* Minimum of 5 years business planning and financial analysis.


* Strong oral and written communication skills required.




* MBA or CPA plus but not required.


* Individual must have a high level of motivation commitment and dedication combined with a proactive mind set.


* Individual must be a team player.


* Have the ability to multi task.


* Ability to produce highly accurate work and is detail oriented.


* Have robust excel and ERP software skills.
