Job Description

The Demo Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of the demonstration equipment. They will also coordinate movement of the inventory between salespeople technical support specialists and customers.

Job Duties

* Maintaining inventory records of each salesperson’s demonstration inventory. 

 

* Maintaining inventory records for national demo equipment kept in Webster TX for the advanced portable and RVI product lines.

 

* Managing the advanced product demo inventory in Houston. Adding inventory when there are new product launches or additional demands added to the demonstration pool. Removing inventory when equipment is retired, or inventory demands are reduced. 

 

* Perform monthly equipment cycle counts of the salespersons inventory to confirm equipment in the field. 

 

* Doing functional tests when the equipment is returned and prior to it being sent to another salesperson for a demonstration. 

 

* Sending and receiving demonstration equipment for salespeople sales managers technical support specialists and customers. 

 

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFIACTIONS

 

High school diploma or GED is required.

 

* High proficiency with MS Word Excel and PowerPoint required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

 Minimum of 2 years of experience with inventory control preferred.

 

* Background as an equipment specialist, logistics clerk, and electronics or mechanical technician background is a plus.

 

* Technical degree in NDT or related field preferred. 

 

* Knowledge of inventory control procedures.

 

* Ability to complete data entry tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

 

* Mechanical and electronic knowledge at a general level to be able to operate the equipment for a functional test.
