Job Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for recruitment-related activities related to various positions throughout the company. This person will act as a subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition; guiding hiring managers to find the most qualified candidates while adhering to best practices in recruitment, continually seeking out new resources to build talent pipelines while maintaining a high level of compliance and customer service focused on the needs of both the hiring managers and candidates.

Job Duties

* Conducts Recruitment Strategy meetings with hiring managers to develop the hiring strategy for assigned openings.  ·


* Partners with the HRBP and business leaders of assigned hiring functions to understand overall business objectives and hiring needs. Actively participates in strategic workforce planning initiatives as needed. 


* Collaborates with hiring managers on candidate pool and recruitment strategy and best practices 


* Trains hiring managers on hiring processes and applicant tracking system conducting live virtual sessions and in person training as needed. 


* Utilizes the Internet as a primary vehicle for sourcing applicants seeking out alternative resources for finding qualified applicants 


* Reviews and submits resumes to hiring managers based on both minimum qualifications and Successful Hiring Profile 


* Conducts initial phone interviews to assess job qualifications and overall fit of candidates; submits pre-qualified candidates to hiring managers 


* Participates in local networking events career fairs college recruiting and company sponsored hiring events 


* Leads various Talent Acquisition related projects as assigned 


* Prepare and extend offers of employment in consultation with hiring manager. Consults HRBP as necessary.  ·


* Complies with diversity recruitment practices, labor law requirements and Affirmative Action guidelines. 


* Administers background checks and ensures appropriate timing for seamless onboarding of new hires.


* Tracks relevant recruiting data and metrics. Continuously seeks out process improvement


* Identifies market trends and recommends opportunities to enhance employment branding


* Performs other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements



* Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent knowledge/experience required. 


 * Minimum 5 years recruitment experience required; at least 3 years of corporate recruiting experience preferred. 


* Successful track record hiring in a high-volume recruitment environment required. 


* Travel to career fairs and other Olympus locations as required.




* Proven record of strong customer focus necessary. Data analysis and report building experience preferred.


* Excellent oral written presentation and organizational skills. 


* Proficiency in MS Office applications; Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word required. 


* Experience using applicant tracking system, SuccessFactors strongly preferred.
