Job Description

The Production Engineering Manage of ANI will work with Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Production Engineering teams on the development and testing of new products as well as the support of existing XRF and XRD products.

Job Duties

* Collaborate with New Product Introduction (NPI) cross-functional teams on the design, development and deployment of new products and technologies.

 

* Drive Design for Manufacturability and Assembly in existing product teams. 

 

* Provide sustaining technical support (software, hardware) for existing products. 

 

* Address technical problems that arise in current designs with respect to production and general performance issues. This involves systematically determining root causes for complex problems and implementing appropriate technical solutions.

 

* Prepare & execute test plans, verification & validation plans, DVT and Pilot Build reports, and ECNs.

 

* Spot failure trends and work with other technicians and engineers to implement corrective actions to lower overall failure rates.

 

* Evaluate current manufacturing methodology and make recommendations for factory automation including the use of Cobots, machine vision and other digital technologies.

Job Requirements

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

 

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required. 

 

* Masters in physics, chemistry, engineering, or related fields desired. 

 

* Minimum 6+ years professional experience in addition to 2-3 years managerial.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

 

* Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.

 

* Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.

 

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

 

* Knowledge of x-rays x-ray fluorescence spectrometry and x-ray diffraction or similar techniques preferred.

 

* The ability to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving will be preferred.
