Job Description

The Recruiting Manager will drive the execution of Olympus’ talent acquisition strategies and is responsible for recruitment related matters related to various positions throughout the company as assigned. The incumbent will guide hiring managers to find the most qualified candidates while adhering to best practices in recruitment, continually seek out new resources to build talent pipelines while maintaining a high level of customer service focused on the needs of both the hiring managers and candidates.

Job Duties

*  Develop actionable strategies and staffing plans to support hiring needs, use internal andexternal resources to meet plans.  


*  Collaborate with hiring managers on candidate pool and recruitment strategy and best practices.  


*  Develop effective working relationships and partner with business leaders at all levels of the organization to understand needs and provide consultation on recruitment strategies.


* Implement recruitment strategies both internally and externally including social media platforms to enhance brand awareness.


*  Develop sourcing strategies for both current and forecasted needs; test new or innovative ways to build robust talent pipelines. 


*  Train hiring managers on hiring processes and applicant tracking system.


*  Manager full recruitment life cycle.


*  Utilize the Internet as a primary vehicle for sourcing applicants, seeking out alternative resources for finding qualified applicants.


*  Conducting initial phone interviews to assess job qualifications and overall fit of candidates.


* Submits pre-qualified candidates to hiring manager.


*  Participate in local network events, career fairs, college recruiting, and company sponsored hiring events.


*  Prepare and extend offers of employment offering recommendation to hiring manager and HR Business Partner.


*  Participate in various talent acquisition projects and initiatives.


*  Comply with diversity recruitment practices, labor law requirements and Affirmative Action guidelines.


*  Report on recruiting metrics and analytics that provide insights into recruitment trends.


Job Requirements




*  Minimum Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent experience required.


*  Minimum of 5 - 7 years recruitment experience required.


*  Experience working in a high-volume recruitment environment required.


*  Ability to establish relationships and be a trusted business partner.


*  Shows accountability by follow up and follow through, high drive for results and proactive approach to work.


*  Minimal travel to career fairs and other Olympus locations if needed. 




*  Communicate and interact effectively with all levels of the organization. 


*  Possess demonstrable knowledge of market trends and the ability to translate them into measurable recruitment plans.


*  Demonstrates creative problem solving and critical thinking skills.


*  Proven record of strong customer focus. 


*  Data analysis and report building experience.


*  Excellent oral, written, presentation and organizational skills.


*  PC proficiency in email and systems (MS Outook) and applicant tracking system (SuccessFactors).


*  Ability to work in team environment is essential.


*  Ability to lead multiple searches/projects while remaining flexible to changing priorities.
