Job Description

The Project Manager, Integrated Solutions manages approved projects that are complex in nature from conception through completion to include scope time and cost. They provide leadership to project team and junior members of project management. The successful candidate holds overall accountability for the implementation for each assigned project. They are accountable for adhering to Olympus project methodology standards and processes.

Job Duties

* Maintain responsibility  for the management of multiple projects across multiple product lines and or regions.

 

* Maintain responsiblity for overall coordination status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts.

 

* Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time within budget adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.

 

* Assembles project plans and teamwork assignments directing and monitoring work efforts as needed performing quality reviews.5. Responsible for tracking key project milestones; reporting of Key Performance Indicators.

 

* Work closely with customers contractors and third-party providers in development of a project.

 

* Submit all necessary paperwork including travel itineraries trip reports activity reports expense reports and service reports as required accurately and in a timely manner.

 

* Direct activities of assigned subordinates.

 

* Assign projects monitor progress ensure completion of project and project documents.

 

* Perform PMEs Create development plans for employees.

 

* Be open and responsive to employee needs.

 

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Management, Project Management, or related field experience.

 

* Minimum 5 years project management experience in related field.

 

* Valid Driver License required.

 

* Ability to travel (>35%)

 

* Ability to work flexible hours as required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Experience in medical instrumentation and software installations preferred. 

 

* Project Management Certification (PMP) or related experience desired.

 

* Must possess strong knowledge in the use of project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project or SmartSheets.

 

* Proven ability to manage multiple projects involving numerous internal and external stakeholders.

 

* Experienced user of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and Power Point.

 

* Strong leadership and project management skills.

 

* Solid working knowledge of electronics personal computer hardware and software and LAN concepts preferred.

 

* Ability to articulate technical and user needs in a concise manner easily understood by all.

 

* Ability to work with field personnel management and customers.

 

* Demonstrated decision making ability towards solving problems and effectively communicate these solutions to co workers and customers.

 

* Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

 

*  Strong communication skills both written verbal.

 

* Ability to create and deliver customer presentations.
