Job Description

The Marketing Associate will be responsible for customer supplied Engineer to Order requests and support in growing of the Sensor & Solutions Program.  The individual will be define market trends and technologies reporting to the Manager of Product Specialists to support future product planning.  The Markering Associate will also be responsible for design, design inputs, and evaluation of customer supplied samples providing inspection solutions using Eddy Current, Conventional Ultrasound, and/or Phased Array Ultrasound technologies/methods.

Job Duties

*  Support custom PA Probe development with application experience.

 

*  Collaborate with Key Accounts and Global Sales Team to evaluate samples to support application development.

 

*  Provide key input for current and future solutions developments.

 

*  Support Product Management teams with Solutions projects.

 

*  Integrate PA Probe expertise into Houston Applications, Omniscan Product, and Solutions and Technologies Groups.

 

*  Provide marketing input for application and solution projects.

 

*  Support demonstrations of advanced ultrasound equipment and solutions.

 

*  Contributing to development and sustainment for technical product line resource materials including internal communication memos, training presentations, marketing documents and web site content.

 

*  Support PM, Production/Design Engineering, and production teams for product development.

 

*  Travel inside and outside of the United States; (30% minimum). 

 

*  Coordinate meetings for custom Phased Array and Conventional probe requests.

 

*  Discuss technical information to follow leads from quotations, specification, and concepts to order status.

 

*  Assist in competitive analysis of product offerings, pricing, and market trends. 

Job Requirements

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

 

*  2 years’ experience, preferably in engineering and/or acoustics.

 

*  2 year associates degree and/or applicable experience.

 

*  Hold a valid passport.

 

PREFERRED  QUALIFICATIONS

 

*  Ability to work as an individual or in a team setting.

 

*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

*  Experience electronics and/or industrial ultrasound technology 

 

*  Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

 

*  Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
