Job Description

The Electronic Assembler I is an entry-level assembler position performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. This person follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, limited testing and manufacturing of transducers. 

Job Duties

*  Follow all established health and safety rules.


*  Acquire job skills, and learn company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedule while producing high quality products to standards.


*  Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.


*  Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.


*  Follow detailed instructions on all work. Work under close supervision.


*  Act as champion of the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.


*  Time and attendance are in accordance with company policies, procedures and work area schedule.


*  Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of product and to maintain efficiencies.


*  Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, procedures and follows verbal directions.


*  Prepare product components and fixtures for assembly.


*  Performs bonding processes, fabricate cable assemblies, attach / close process (hand soldering).


*  Limited testing of products.


*  Performs routine hands-on assembly tasks in the manufacture of Eddy Current probes, Ultrasonic transducers or BondMaster sensors. 

Job Requirements



*  High School Diploma


*  Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience.




*  Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope is a plus.


*  Good manual dexterity.


*  Strong attention to detail.


*  Computer skills and literacy a plus.


*  Highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently with minimum supervision and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.


*  Strong verbal communication skills.


*  Able to embrace change.


*  Team Player


*  Enjoy contributing to a diverse manufacturing group.


*  Ability to work overtime as needed.


*  Ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended amount of time.
