Job Description

The Assembler I is an entry-level assembler position performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. THe Assembler follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, limited testing and manufacturing of transducers. Ability to follow procedures and drawings.

Job Duties

* Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedule while producing high quality products to standards.


* Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.


* Work under close supervision.


* Act as champion of the company’s Lean and Continuous Improvement programs.


* Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of product and to maintain efficiencies.


* Hand soldering and bonding processes.


* Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, procedures and follows verbal directions.


* Prepare product components and fixtures for assembly.


* Fabricate cable assemblies.


* Performs routine hands-on assembly tasks in the manufacture of Eddy Current probes, Ultrasonic transducers or BondMaster sensors.

Job Requirements


*  High School Diploma 

* Typically requires less than 1 year of related experience

* Good manual dexterity

* Ability to work overtime as needed

* Ability to sit and work under a microscope for extended amount of time



* Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope is a plus

* Demonstrate basic understanding of Eddy Current, Ultrasonic or BondMaster inspection methods and its application in the sensor assembly process

* Computer skills and literacy a plus

* Enjoy contributing to a diverse manufacturing group
