Job Description

The Financial Planning and Analysis Director will be responsible for leading and providing business partnership on all Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities of Olympus Therapeutic Solutions Division (TSD), a ~$2B global division. The incumbent will possess the ability to independently design, build and maintain complex financial processes (including reporting, analytics, and recommendations) and timelines at the global level. The incumbent will possess ability to lead all FP&A activities by effectively managing partnership with Business Unit Heads, cross-functional teams, global Finance teams, and subordinates.

Job Duties

*  Lead to design, implement, and maintain FP&A processes globally that provide financial and operational transparency to all Therapeutics Solution Division (TSD) Business Unit, Division Head, and Strategy Team partners. 


* Partner with Corporate and Regional Finance Teams to produce monthly TSD financial reporting and related operational drivers that provide visibility in performance of P&L, Balance Sheet, KPIs. 


*  Manage the TSD P&L reporting by leveraging Corporate Finance team. 


* Lead the process of understanding performance driver from TSD Business Units and Regional Finance teams. 


* Enable TSD Business Partners with access to independent operational recommendations based on financial analytics.


* Lead in preparation and presentation of recurring TSD FP&A reporting to TSD Executive Team.


* Improve existing financial processes globally.


* Manage all TSD Planning and Forecasting processes in partnership with Corporate, Regional and TSD Management.

* Manage the creation of global calendars and targets/guidelines.


* Drive Budget accuracy and completeness through understanding all key drivers.

* Lead in preparing presentation material to TSD Management in meaningful manner.

* Oversee the TSD global headcount and operating expense.

* Manage and oversee TSD FP&A team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks executed promptly.


* Identify and lead in improving direct report’s development opportunities.

* Partner with TSD Portfolio Finance team to support Global Strategic Portfolio activities.

* Assist in consolidation of Strategic Portfolio global TSD financial models, including validating for completeness and accuracy.


* Assist in scenario analysis to help guide TSD leadership team’s Portfolio rollup aligned to long-term financial targets.

* Assist in the process of embedding outputs of review/approval meetings into TSD’s Finance Actuals & Budgeting/Forecasting processes. 

* Lead and/or assist with adhoc tasks and projects as needed by TSD Leadership team

Job Requirements



* Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA preferred.

* Minimum of 10 years of financial experience required. Preferably in an international and matrixed corporate setting.


* Must have strong PC Skills. (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)


* Must have experience support senior business partners.




* Masters or MBA preferred.


* Employs excellent written verbal and visual presentation communication skills.


* Employs critical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.


* Innovative with a strong sense of initiative.


* Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize job duties in an organized and efficient manner.


* Must have demonstrated prior leadership skills, including managing employees and/or mentoring team members.


* Must possess ability to proactively assess and improve current processes.


* Values and establishes effective interpersonal relationships across company.


* Exudes obsessive commitment to data accuracy completeness consistency and timeliness; detail-oriented.


* Experience in SAP, Oracle and/or Hyperion preferred.
