Job Description

Quality Leader providing oversight, training and mentoring to the organization for new product development, sustaining engineering, risk management and end to end product quality.

Job Duties

In a typical day, you will:

* Mentors and leads the Product Quality Engineering staff supporting new product development and sustaining engineering projects across multiple sites.

 

* Mentors and leads the Microbiology and Sterilization staff supporting new product development, sustaining engineering projects and routine production across multiple sites.

 

* Champion and subject matter expert for customer and patient focused, end to end Risk Management.

 

* Supports complaint investigations, signal detection, product issue escalations.

 

* Supports facility audits by outside agencies (i.e., FDA, ISO / MDSAP) as a subject matter expert to demonstrate compliance to regulatory requirements and Quality System.

 

* Budget responsibility for the local Quality organization. 

 

* Stakeholder and collaborator with senior management relating to project, business and quality decisions.

 

* Other Quality Assurance responsibilities as assigned by Management.
 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or life science discipline.

 

* MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred.

 

* Minimum 10 years of professional experience or equivalent training/education in Quality or other Engineering disciplines.  

 

* Minimum 5 years working in medical device new product development.
