Job Description

The Associate Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis activities within Olympus Therapeutic Solutions Division (TSD), a $2B global division. The incumbent will possess the ability to design, build and maintain complex financial processes (Actuals and Forecasting) and financial models at the global level for 3 specific TSD Business Units with global revenues of ~$600M. The incumbent will possess the ability to create long-term P&L forecasting based on existing business performance along with outcome of investment strategies. They will possess ability to lead complex projects cross-functionally and perform other adhoc tasks as needed by Business Partners.

Job Duties

* Partner with TSD Finance leadership to design, implement, and maintain standard financial processes globally that provide full P&L and operational visibility to 3 Global TSD Business Unit Partners managing ~$600M in global revenues


* Partner with Corporate and Regional Finance Teams to produce monthly total TSD P&L reporting that provides visibility in P&L, Balance Sheet, KPIs, and related performance drivers, with more detailed commercial and manufacturing financial analytics on the 3 specific Business Units managed by the incumbent


*  Perform critical-thinking to drive accuracy of TSD financial reporting of figures and related drivers


* Manage the official TSD P&L reporting by leveraging Corporate Finance team. Drive P&L reporting aligned with TSD Business Partner needs


* Lead the process of understanding performance driver from Regional and Corporate Finance teams


* Assist in preparing monthly presentation material for TSD Executive Team to report business performance


* Eliminate redundancies and create efficiencies in monthly reporting and analysis process


* Assist in managing TSD Annual Budgeting and Forecasting processes in partnership with Corporate and TSD Management


* Partner with Corporate to compile global bottoms-up Budget and Forecast

* Manage Global TSD headcount and OPEX, including monthly review of actuals and Budgeting/Forecasting


* Partner with TSD Portfolio Finance team to support Global Strategic Portfolio activities


* Assist in consolidation of Strategic Portfolio global TSD financial models, including validating for completeness and accuracy


* Assist in scenario analysis to help guide TSD leadership team’s Portfolio make-up aligned to long-term financial targets


* Assist in the process of embedding outputs of review/approval meetings into TSD’s Finance Actuals & Budgeting/Forecasting processes, to be able to track performance of approved Projects and M&A activity


* Lead and/or assist with adhoc tasks and projects as needed by TSD Finance leadership tea

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience

* Minimum 6 years of Finance or equivalent experience




* Masters or MBA preferred


* Must have strong PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)


* Must have experience support senior business partners


* Employs excellent written verbal and visual presentation communication skills


* Employs critical thinking with strong problem-solving skills


* Innovative with a strong sense of initiative


* Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize job duties in an organized and efficient manner


* Must possess ability to proactively assess and improve current processes


* Values and establishes effective interpersonal relationships across company


* Exudes obsessive commitment to data accuracy completeness consistency and timeliness; detail-oriented


* Experience in SAP, Oracle and/or Hyperion preferred
