Job Description

The primary function of the Data Analyst Specialist is to manage the sales data analytics for the SVS Humanitarian Use Device (HUD) product. Collects and analyses data to identify trends and provide clients or management with valuable information that they can use to improve marketing, operational and businesses practices. In addition, this individual will also assist in sales order processing.

Job Duties

* Provide ongoing sales reporting and analytics functions including monthly reports on key metrics and for quarterly and annual sales reviews.

 

* Analyzes historical sales data to develop revenue and production forecasts. Responds to requests from global upstream and US downstream marketing teams to provide metrics on sales performance and marketing campaigns in the field.

 

* Provide support and guidance to field sales, physicians, clinic staff, and other administrators on activities related to documentation of HUD product usage and sales process. Provides data as needed for annual reporting to regulatory agencies.

 

* Proactively monitor customer orders daily and coordinate with Customer Service to identify and take appropriate measures to remedy missing documentation or other requirements necessary to ship product (i.e., providing customer with information for vendor credentialing).

 

* Provide back up for Customer Service function (sales order processing) as needed.

 

* Provide support for other sales operations and marketing projects as assigned.

 

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree required.

 

* Minimum of 3 years experience working in Data Analytics and Customer Service or other customer-facing position required.

 

* Minimum of 2 years working in a life sciences industry required, medical device preferred.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Minimum of 2 years working with DRM’s Oracle and/or SAP or SalesForce preferred.

 

* HUD regulations preferred

 

* Proficient in status reporting utilizing database/CRM systems

 

* Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

 

* Data management/database skills desirable

 

* Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills.

 

* Strong analytical and organizational skills.

 

* Ability to interact with field personnel management and customers.

 

* Strong presentation skills.

 

* Multi tasking problem solving and decision making skills are essential.

 

* Must be a strong team player.
