Job Description

The Clinical EndoTherapy Specialist is responsible for providing clinical knowledge and technical expertise to support and enhance the sale and marketing of Olympus EndoTherapy products in targeted hospitals for the following procedures ERCP ESD/EMR EUS Bronchoscopy EBUS and Peripheral Bronchoscopy.

Job Duties

Work closely and supports the Endoscopy Account Managers (EAMs) in driving Premium EndoTherapy device utilization in targeted accounts. Provides extended customer on-site support and/or training of EndoTherapy devices on their safe and effective use. Establishes and maintains relationships with physicians nurses techs and other associated personnel at the target account. Communicate routinely with their direct supervisor (Field Marketing Manager) Endoscopy Account Managers and RSD&aposs on all opportunities and challenges. Support Endoscopy workshops for medical personnel. Attend key conventions and workshops. Complete daily activity reports. Complete weekly expense reports. Travel as assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Field Marketing Manager.

Job Requirements

B.S or A.S in Nursing or GI Technician certification or equivalent experience Must possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) experience >3 years preferred. Certified GI Technician Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse and maintenance of all certifications and/or registrations is highly preferred. Travel is required. Must be able to effectively communicate and educate physicians nursing and sales personnel.
