Job Description

Responsible for driving key strategic initiatives and marketing activities for 4 product portfolios:  Endoscopy, Respiratory, ET and Service. As part of the marketing team, the Senior Marketing Manager will lead the development of annual strategic marketing and business plans, develop, and execute marketing and sales programs together with the Product Management Team to achieve revenue and income targets. The manager will also develop key product focus and compensation strategies, target pricing decisions. Make critical decisions as it relates to product portfolio strategies overall. Liaise with the global teams to ensure timely product launch commercialization discussions take place; work with global marketing and regulatory teams as well as downstream global teams to ensure successful product launches in Canada. Provide input to global marketing during product review and other strategic meetings, share customer needs and Canadian market trends Manage product disruptions strategies. Manage key HCP relationships, society partnerships interface with customers, sales representatives, and in-house stakeholders in support and drive the business. Engage and support cross functional conversations to ensure seamless program execution. Maintain strong partnership with the RVPs. Ensure critical alignment for all sales strategies by cascading the information with all RVPs, ensuring alignment, understanding and the buy-in. 

Job Duties

* The goal of this role is to drive implementation of key sales and marketing strategies and to provide leadership and direction to key stakeholders: Operations, Finance and Sales functions as it relates to key programs and support. This role also manages outputs of the quarterly demand plans, forecasting and budget forecasting for all 4 product lines within the business segment are completed with accuracy.

 

* Work with sales leaderships team to ensure compensation strategies are addressed before every launch and annual target price review is completed for all portfolios including focus product review.

 

* Gain buy-in and support form AVPs and RVPs on key programs roll out.

 

* Organize workflow for the PM team so that it makes strategic impact to the organization, working with the Marketing operations manager to improve processes internally.

 

* Participate in all global calls to represent Canada and OCI’s needs.

 

* Provide feedback and consultative support in key strategic projects that may span into other portfolios: eg: Pivot, Strategic Endoscopy Plan.

 

* Participate in ancillary projects as needed. GPO strategy and response responsibility in line with the AVPs.

 

* GPO presentations for key product portfolios, pricing strategy review.

 

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

 

* Minimum 8 years of experience in healthcare and/or medical devices.

 

* Experience managing a team of people. Additional experience in developing and managing physician / surgeon HCP.

 

* Collaborating and managing societies and partnerships relationships.

 

* Experience in launch of new technologies and procedures within the Canadian healthcare market.

 

* Proven ability to develop and grow business based on procedure focused sales.

 

* Experience in interacting with a diverse cross functional team,

* Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills at all levels.

 

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

* Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

 

* High degree of personal organization.
