Job Description

The bilingual Contract & Tender Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities via tendering sites in Canada and ensure timely responses to the requests, proposals, and corporate agreements.

Job Duties

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily review of tender websites and other sources to identify opportunities in Canada to bid on all product lines
  • Review and mark up all tender forms of agreements to identify risk for the business
  • Manage the opportunities by communicating due dates with all stakeholders including outside Sales Reps and our legal department to ensure receipt of all information to you with enough time to submit accordingly.
  • Assemble all tenders for submission by gathering all necessary information and approvals, printing and binding all documents, and any other specific requirements by the customer
  • Track all active tenders by maintaining the tender log
  • Obtain and document approvals through internal approval process
  • Support the contracts team with daily inquires regarding supplier forms, contract order accuracy, and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 2+ years of relevant experience required 
  • This position will operate in an environment where time limitations are stringent, and the consequences associated with error can be extremely high. As a result, extreme attention to detail and a heightened awareness to deadlines is required.

Skills:

  • Must be fluently bilingual (French & English) both written and verbal
  • Must be able to shift priorities quickly and adjust work schedule based on workload Flexibility and adaptability are essential
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, complex word documents, and Microsoft Outlook/Teams

Competencies:

  • A familiarity with legal and commercial terminology is an asset
