Job Description

The Senior Distributor Commercial Manager role is responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and development of the indirect channel network (distributors) to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and optimize channel efficiency. This role serves as a key interface between the company and its partners, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals, brand integrity, and customer satisfaction.

 

Job Duties

Channel Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute the indirect channel strategy across assigned regions/markets.
  • Implement go-to-market model developed by the BU through distributors.
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and segment channel partners to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
  • Establish clear performance KPIs and metrics to monitor partner effectiveness.
  • Identify and Prioritize growth opportunities By Market in the region.

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Collaborates with OLA sales and Marketing leaders in establishing FY sales goals for each indirect partner and monitors their achievement according to Annual Business and strategic plan.
  • Works with the BU and Finance to implement Customer programs that align partner interests with company growth objectives.
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, supply chain, operations and RA to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive to completion tender participation.

Partner Development

  • Foster strong, trust-based relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Conduct business reviews, Pipeline reviews, joint planning, and co-marketing activities.
  • Provide necessary tools and support to enhance partner capabilities and knowledge.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Align with all internal teams to ensure partner success.
  • Perform all distributor Playbook responsibilities.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analyze market dynamics, competitor activities, and channel performance to refine strategy align with the BU.
  • Provide regular performance reports and actionable insights to OLA and LAD leadership.
  • Provide accurate sales and product forecast based on market trends and pipeline reports.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of commercial leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in channel/distributor management specifically (direct sales or marketing experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through indirect sales models.
  • Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and partner relationship skills.
  • Experience in international or multi-country channel operations.
  • Knowledge of CRM and channel management systems.
