Job Description

The GI&R Sr Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the marketing plan, providing clinical knowledge and technical expertise to support and enhance the sale of Olympus Gastroenterology and Respiratory capital products in Mexico. Special emphasis on the following procedures: Upper and lower Gastroenterology, ERCP, EUS, Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Peripheral Bronchoscopy. 

Job Duties

Support the development and execution of Mexico´s GI&R Marketing Plan including the launch of new products. Work closely and supports the sales team & Distributors in driving Premium GI&R equipment utilization in Mexico. Support sales representative in performing strategic clinical evaluation of GI&R products to promote their features and benefits. In coordination with the sales team & distributors, establishes and maintains relationships with key physicians, nurses, techs, and other associated personnel. Communicate routinely with their direct supervisor (LAD’s GI&R Marketing Director) on all opportunities and challenges. Support on the creation of and local approval by COFEPRIS of marketing collateral including detail aids, brochures, digital sales tools, etc., ensuring all collateral aligns and reinforces product key messaging and positioning.  Develop GI&R Field Marketing Activities (FMA) and support ProfEd & Grants workshops for medical personnel. Coordinate participation at key conventions and workshops. Secure business intelligence, and market information actively communicating with the Marketing Director, direct and indirect Sales Representatives. Collaborate in GI&R Sales Representative trainings. Complete weekly activity reports. Complete weekly expense reports. Travel as assigned through Mexico. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Marketing team. 

Job Requirements

Education / Training*: BA/BS or appropriate relevant on-the job experience may be considered a substitute for minimal educational requirement; advanced business or marketing degree preferred Experience in developing and managing HCP relationships 

Experience*: External Experience:  Combination of 3+ years of healthcare sales, marketing and /or clinical experience within a hospital clinical procedures environment Internal Experience:  Combination of 2+ years of healthcare sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within a hospital clinical procedures environment (1+ years within Olympus preferably)  Experience in launching new technologies  Experience in interacting with a diverse cross functional team, strong prospecting skills, self-starter, capable of independent action, detail oriented, multi-task/time management, ability to internalize technical concepts, products, and services  Proven ability to develop and grow business based on “procedure-focused sales”  Demonstrated success in developing accounts; ability to develop and execute marketing plans and lead hange 

Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills at all levels Good English level (Verbal, Written, Listening)
