Job Description

Manages all aspects sales function for OIMA Latin America including account management reseller training product demonstration resource management prospecting and closing new business opportunities for imaging products including digital imaging and digital single lens reflex cameras audio voice recorders and accessories. Plans and coordinates all activities of authorized OIMA Latin America distributors and other wholesale/retail resellers as assigned in order to achieve revenue targets and return on investment.

Job Duties

  • Plans, directs and manages the activities of the Regional Sales Managers and/or Sales Supervisor(s).
  • Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, training, development and disciplinary activity for his/her direct reports.
  • Plans and conducts periodic sales meetings to educate, train and stimulate his/her direct reports.
  • Collaborates with LAD Sales and Marketing Leaders and General Manager/Managing Director in establishing the sales goals for the sales representatives.
  • Assign and manages geographic sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
  • Develops an annual business plan consistent with the direction of the LAD Sales and Marketing Leaders.
  • Conducts weekly Cadence Calls to identify and qualify opportunities in SFDC and move business through the process to successful completion.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent knowledge) and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the medical field (preferably in capital equipment) with the demonstrated ability.
  • Manage sales personal
  • Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office), and strong communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a high degree of initiative and creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
  • A specialized knowledge of human anatomy/physiology and related diseases of the body where Olympus products might be utilized is preferred
  • Technically inclined and comfortable working with all types of people and cultures
  • Professional individual who is comfortable creating and maintaining relationships.
  • Must be very independent and comfortable making decisions on your own.
  • Must understand all business and financial applications relating to the MSG goals, strategic and overall medical business to drive revenue and profit growth
