Job Description

The Production Supervisor  is responsible for:


* Supervision of production employees in the manufacturing facility


* Oversight of the manufacturing operation activities to consistently produce quality products meeting customer expectations


* Improvement of production KPIs


* Introduction of production processes and instructions for new products


* Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, standards, and regulations

Job Duties

* Direct production activities and staff throughout area of assignment, ensuring the quality of processes and products in the manufacturing area.


* Anticipates and resolves the problems/issues that could impact the operational success of assigned responsibilities within the operations/manufacturing group and manages conflicting objectives.


* Provide coaching and guidance to employees, setting clear expectations. Hold employees accountable for performance.


* Monitors and collects production data to identify  issues and opportunities to improve manufacturing KPI performance.


* Assists in planning and controlling improvement initiatives including technology improvements, process improvements and overall improved performance.


* Support operator training for new and existing processes, products, and equipment, ensuring employees are trained as required.


* Supports  the implementation and maintenance of Environmental Health and Safety corporate operational program.


* Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



* Associate’s Degree with minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing activities OR High School Diploma with minimum of 8 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing activities.


* Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in manufacturing activities.




* Demonstrated ERP / PLM  experience with proficiency in Oracle and Agile highly desirable.


* Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma highly desirable.
