Job Description

The Area Vice President, Enterprise Solutions is responsible for maintaining and growing all Olympus businesses within targeted IDNs.  This position will be responsible for creating strategies that will result in desired agreements within their specific IDN accounts and achieve stated objectives. 

Job Duties

* Establish pathway to achieve the annual sales plan. 

* Negotiate and secure desirable agreements that provide access for Olympus and its technologies.

* Develop customized strategies that produce sales results that meet or exceed national growth rates for contracted and non-contracted Olympus products.

* Develop effective internal relationships with Olympus business leaders and all key senior level IDN Stakeholders within your geography, resulting in improved customer satisfaction ratings (Net Promoter Score).

* Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders including, Territory Managers, BU RVPs, BU AVPs, BUVPs and other business alliances to fully execute all contracts, sales strategies and initiatives.

* Manage price within targeted IDNs with a high degree of internal transparency and legitimacy based upon volume, market share/revenue commitments, length of agreement, breadth of portfolio, etc.

* Engage Olympus business unit leaders to understand their key business initiatives and strategic imperatives to ensure alignment between contracting activities and business unit needs.

* Build creative, unique, strategic and compelling contracting approaches that resonate with Supply Chain executives and establish barriers to exiting agreements.

* Perform Quarterly Business Reviews with customers to ensure contract compliance and seek new opportunities for growth.

* Operate within the annual budget by exercising responsible fiscal responsibility.

* Complete and submit all administrative responsibilities accurately and on time (CRM, SFDC, expense reports and PTO)

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's degree required.


* Minimum of 5  years of successful medical device sales .


* Minimum of 3 years' experience selling into IDNs.

* Ability to travel 30%-50% of time by car and/or plane.




* MBA or Master's a plus.


* Previous experience selling into multiple Business Unit categories/disease states preferred.


* People leader experience preferred.
