Job Description

The Talent Strategies Specialist supports the execution of talent strategies, specifically early talent recruiting for internship, co-op and apprenticeship programs as well as the internal applicant process. Ensuring a positive and consistent experience for both early talent candidates and internal applicants through both the apply and onboard process. Support the coordination of various early talent programs and their respective request and approval process.

Job Duties

* Attend/host early talent events, screen candidates on campus and virtual


* Partner with schools (undergraduate, graduate and alumni) on job postings, communications and events for all recruitment needs related to this targeted job seeker audience


* Develop and maintain strategic long-term strategic relationships with the career service staff and key faculty of select colleges and universities; coordinate and participate in follow up meetings with colleges each year to develop and maintain a sourcing strategy of new graduates to build a strong applicant pool thru out the year


* Coordinate the internship, co-op and apprenticeship request process, including onboarding and offboarding of students. Work with HRBP’s and hiring managers on requests and conduct recruitment activities to fill approved requests.


* Support recruitment process related to Internal Hiring (including promotion and temp to hire conversions), early talent program conversions: internships, apprenticeships, co-ops etc


* Work with brand manager on internal communications related to internal hiring process, internal hiring success stories and also marketing and communication of early talent programs/hiring needs externally.


* Lead efforts around tuition reimbursement program and college program marketing; act as point of contact for schools and employees.


* Develop and maintain core onboarding needs for internal hires (competitive and non-competitive).

Job Requirements



* Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.


* Minimum 2 years in recruiting (corporate, agency or early talent); minimum 1 year supporting communication and marketing within recruitment function


* Experience using an ATS is required; prefer experience using Handshake


* Travel up to 20% within the US is possible for onsite campus events and/or internal hiring events at other Olympus Corp Americas locations.
