Job Description

The Senior Security Architect ZeroTrust is responsible for the execution of the data protection and privacy guidelines and standards set by Compliance. The role ensures that data privacy standards, policies and procedures are adhered for all technical solutions. Additionally, the role ensures that standards and policies set by Compliance are incorporated in the guidelines for Data Protection/Privacy and are accessible for the whole Global IT. One of the key responsibilities of the Senior Security Architect ZeroTrust is also to liaise between the Privacy and the IT Security Team in terms of data protection and privacy topics. Furthermore, the role is also responsible for guiding and closely working together with the Security Architect Data ZeroTrust.

Job Duties

* Data Protection and Security.

 

* Design and engineer secure solutions for data protection and privacy.

 

* Operate an architecture program to protect the value of the systems and information assets of the enterprise from both external and internal threats.

 

* Conduct IT security reviews for proposed new applications or solution requests from business to ensure they adhere to Olympus data protection and privacy guidelines and standards set by Compliance.

 

* Identify, define, and communicate security requirements that enable adherence to data privacy standards, policies, and procedures.

 

* Review and advise on defined security and privacy architecture roadmap, guidelines, and requirements.

 

* Liaise with Olympus SA Global Lead to coordinate and ensure security and privacy reviews of new applications proposed by Business adhere to compliance standards.

 

* Assist application and MSP team to help remediate challenges in implementing defined architecture due to local compliance and regulatory requirements.

 

* Liaise between the Privacy and the IT Security team.

 

* Security Architecture.

 

* Review and advise on audit plans and results of regional specific security architecture requirements as per defined and agreed HLD and LLD.

 

* Liaise with architects from other domains and regions.

 

* Review current system security measures and recommend enhancements.

 

* Review and advise on plans and results of regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.

 

* People Management

 

* Lead, motivate, develop, and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Security, Computer Science, or other related field (or equivalent and related experience).

 

* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate security architecture environments.

 

* Minimum 3 years' experience leading teams, preferably teams across various nations.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* CISSP-ISSAP, GPEN, GICSP, GRID, SABSA, CNDA, CRTSA, GDSA desirable.

 

* Deep understanding of information security topics, preferably focusing on data protection and privacy topics.
 

 

* Experience working in a position requiring a deep knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations.
 

 

* Experience liaising between different teams preferred.
 

 

* Thorough knowledge with Security Architecture Frameworks, Cybersecurity frameworks, ABSA, TOGAF, ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, BCM, IT Risk Management, ISA-TR99.00.01-2001, ISA-TR99.00.02-2004, FIPS Pub 1999, NIST 800 (37, 82, 53, 53A), NISTIR 7628, DHS Presidential Directive 7, NERC CIP v6.
 

 

* Management experience.

 

* Experience working across multiple geographies (or equivalent and related experience preferred).

 

* Demonstrable technical communication.
 

 

* Demonstrable business and tech acumen.
