Job Description

The Sr. Program Reporting Specialist will support the Leveraged Contract Department and Enterprise Solutions in driving critical business decisions by developing key reports and analysis for all program types. Incumbent will apply analytic methods to deliver insights relative to proposal activity, program performance, and customer trending related to Programs. The Sr. Program Reporting Specialist will identify opportunities to improve pre-award process, develop, and support automated solutions for Leveraged Program team.

Job Duties

* Develop and manage departmental tools, management reporting, and other key metrics related to program portfolios.


* Prepares ad hoc reporting and state of the program business reviews to be shared with internal and external customers.


* Advises management and other stakeholders of trends, closure %, and other measurements to allow for proper alignment of resources and support across Leveraged Contract Department.   


* Supports automation efforts and system enhancements in the organization by serving on project teams as needed and is a key contributor in new program strategies as requested from the Business.


* Creating reports and KPIs of analytic findings in a variety of formats (reports, PPT, graphs, figures and tables), formulating recommendations for communication to non-analytic audiences.


* Collaborative contact in working with OCA Reporting Team that leads initiatives that drive new reporting solutions, and data integrity.


* Collaborates and drives continuous efficiencies with all internal partners such as Strategic Pricing, Contract Administration, Business Services (GBS) and other key internal partners in the ongoing transform Olympus/Medical initiatives.


* Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


* Bachelor’s degree in analytical field such as finance, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or relatable proven experience.


* Minimum 5 years’ experience related to financial/data analysis, data modelling, trend analysis, or other relatable experience.



* Must be a team player, have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability/desire to collaborate with others.


* Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.


* Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.


* Must have the ability to solve a problem and negotiate in a complex and dynamic environment.


* Must be self-directed and creative.


* The ability to multi‑task is essential.


* Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Access) is necessary.


* Working Business Objects/Showcase Reporting experience, SQL or relatable experience strongly desired.


* Working SAP experience or relatable ERP experience strongly desired.
