Job Description
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing and updating documentation for the global IT Portfolio on programs, projects, and service improvement activities. They will closely support the Senior Portfolio Manager in
tracking and reporting the benefits and value delivered by the global technology project and programs. They will also support in the development of global PMO and strategic planning tools (i.e., communication tools, dashboards etc). In addition to this they will assist in the creation and maintenance of a global project database that will track all project documentation centrally. They will also conduct reporting processes to manage KPI tracking against the global IT portfolio.
The Portfolio Manager will also assist in portfolio prioritization, strategic business planning, project activation, project execution, and global reporting.

Job Duties
IT Portfolio Management:
* Support the development of an approach to prioritize and re-prioritize the global IT portfolio, accurately reflecting the dynamic Olympus business environment and technology trends.
* Support the designing of a decision criteria for strategic portfolio decisions aligned with the organization's strategy.
* Develop, manage, and update business cases for projects and programs across the global IT portfolio.
Global Program Management Office:
* Support the definition of the global governance framework for all programs and projects in the IT portfolio in alignment to delivery standards and policies.
* Document, update and communicate program level risks, issues and decisions.
* Track and document the performance of the global IT portfolio using established processes, tools and systems.
* Analyze, compile, verify data integrity, development, and delivery of reports.
* Support program evaluations to assess and assure that program and project objectives (time, quality, and cost) are being met, and anticipated Return on Investment is being achieved.
* Support the creation of impactful and compelling presentations summarizing findings and recommendations that lead to improvements of the portfolio and maximization of benefits.
* Other responsibilities / duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field (or equivalent and related experience).
* Minimum 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in formal project and portfolio management methodologies.
* Experience in tracking and analyzing resources and budget of a portfolio that is being developed applying agile methodologies.
* Experience in developing presentations and communicating data analysis and results to assist decision-making.
* Experience in Medical Device, Healthcare / Life Sciences space would be a plus.
* IPMA Level A or B or equivalent advantageous.
* Advance user with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
* Experience multitasking and balancing priorities with minimal direction.
* Experience in interpersonal and relationship building with ability to work in a team environment.
* Collaboration in a multicultural or international environment.
* Experience in creating reports and tools to analyze and evaluate data.
* Demonstrable strategic thinking and organizational skills.
