Job Description
This position is responsible for providing global Human Resources Business Partner support and leadership to OCA based and global QARA Leaders their management teams and employees. Client groups are heavily matrixed and spread across multiple (U.S, Latin America, EMEA, Japan and Asia Pac) geographies. The incumbent will provide innovative HR solutions that are consistent with the Company’s strategic plan and vision for all assigned locations in the areas including but not limited to staffing, talent and succession planning, org development, performance management, employee relations, training, policy interpretation, and compensation and benefits communication.
Job Duties
- Provides strategic and creative Human Resources solutions to Groups and Departments strategic business needs.
- Provides coaching and strategic advice to Senior Management regarding organizational development succession and talent planning and overall employee relations.
- Shares information and input with other HRBPs, HR Shared Services, Compensation and Benefits, and Learning & Development in order to maximize the overall effectiveness of the Global HRBP team.
- Provides support and guidance in the delivery of global programs including Succession Planning Management, Development Programs, Performance Management, Career Development and Employee Engagement.
- Actively supports employee engagement through working with senior management and their management teams to ensure appropriate follow up to employees through surveys or focus groups and influences accountability by management for action items.
- Responds to sensitive and confidential issues and concerns raised by all levels of employees in a confidential timely and objective manner.
- Maintains awareness of general employee feedback issues and concerns and recommends solutions to management to improve moral and maintain an issue free environment.
- Collaborates with global HR colleagues to recommend improvements to policies, processes, and procedures to drive best practice implementation and review.
- Identifies group and employee training needs and actively supports the career development of employees within the framework of the Company’s Learning & Development plan.
- Coaches and educates employees and management at all levels regarding HR programs and policies.
- Identifies compensation and benefits issues and reviews with management to promote pay equity and efficient benefits service delivery.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Qualification
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources or equivalent required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Human Resources experience including HR Generalist/Business Partner experience which should include experience in at least three of the following: business/client group HR support with recruitment & staffing, employee relations, training, compensation benefits and career development.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and/or internationally.
Preferred:
- PHR preferred.
- Knowledge of current federal state and local Human Resources related laws, regulations, trends and issues. Basic understanding of European and/or Japanese Labor law preferred.
- Proven ability to handle difficult employee issues in a professional and confidential manner.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to business needs and shifts in client group support regularly.
- Experience in making effective presentations and delivery of training.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information in written and verbal form.
- Ability to forge and maintain business partnerships.
- Ability to interface with all levels of employees in the organization.
- Ability to analyze data and create and communicate options to meet desired business objectives. KPI and analytical experience preferred.
- Process improvement skills preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems including Word Excel Power Point Access. Experience with HRIS is a plus.
