Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operational Effectiveness

Job Description

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operational Effectiveness will drive the execution of talent acquisition operations in the Americas while identifying and creating opportunities for continuous improvement. Governance over specific aspects of hiring includes Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) provider program, internal Talent Acquisition (TA) operations/team, Hiring Manager and employee adoption of TA programs and strategies. Overall effectiveness of TA at Olympus through candidate and new hire satisfaction, management of the applicant tracking system, SME on TA process and practices and leading executive search efforts, regional support for Global TA initiatives and hiring.

Job Duties

* Manage the relationship with external recruitment partners including RPO. Develop an effective and strong partnership with partner team members, including training/onboarding to OCA recruitment processes, policies, programs etc. and govern the overall program approach to the business. Act as point person for issues related to matters of service level, employment/recruitment policy and overall program strategies.


* Lead internal TA team as well as executive search efforts for Senior Leadership roles. This would include working directly with retained search firms, high touch support to hiring manager and candidates including participation in the screening process, driving the overall process from posting through offer and onboarding.


* Drive TA program evolution and adoption by coordinating, communicating and leading change management efforts. These efforts include the creation and execution of an internal marketing plan, developing and leading Quarterly Business Reviews at both the OCA Executive Committee level and business executive committee level


* Analyze effectiveness of overall TA practices through candidate, new hire and hiring manager surveys along with other key TA metrics, setting or improve/enhance practices. Partner with Employer Branding and Talent Strategies to share results and feedback for their respective initiatives.


* Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System. Partner with HRIS team on system related changes including templates and workflow changes


* Support Business Development during M&A activity acquisitions as the SME to recruiting with new company. Trainings, policy reviews and Talent Acquisition acclimation to be included.


* Build and execute hiring manager and HR training related to the hiring process and best practices to ensure top quality hires including interviewing training


* Act as Regional Talent Acquisition lead for Global Talent Acquisition initiatives and organizing hiring efforts within OCA.


* All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.


* Minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruiting with a minimum of 3 years as a supervisor/manager OR minimum 7 years in an HR Business Partner role with demonstrated success implementing various HR Operational Programs preferably Talent Acquisition related.


* Must be available to travel 10-20% of schedule.




* Practical work and technical experience with Applicant Tracking/HRIS Systems.


* Demonstrated experience in developing effective candidate experiences.


* Experience collaborating with internal marketing teams on effective and creative communication strategies both internally and externally.


* Experience developing and executing training materials and campaigns.


* Experience with assessing, designing, building, and implementing new Talent Acquisition technologies.


* Knowledge and demonstration of talent acquisition best practices including diversity hiring practices.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


* Excellent written and verbal skills.


* Organizational and follow up skills.


* Solid change management and communication skills.


* Good partner/vendor management skill.
