Job Description
This position is responsible to provide contract negotiation and paralegal support to the FIS Manager to facilitate efficient day-to-day operations of the Financing Relationship Specialist team. Work closely with Manager and the legal department to complete contract negotiations and support the Financing Relationship Specialists by preparing non-standard or complex contract Amendments and specialized contract documents. Perform other activities and duties as assigned by manager.
Job Duties
- Provide support to Manager and attorney supporting FIS regarding leasing transactional matters including contract review and revisions and contract negotiations.
- Complete all approved common modifications and identify revisions that need review and approval from Legal, FIS Management, Lease Credit Risk and Finance.
- Coordinate the review and approval of all applicable parties.
- Provide updates to FIS Field on contract negotiation status providing redlines for customers and coordinate any requested negotiation conference calls.
- Complete all non-standard, complex, and specialized contract Amendments and Transfer &
- Assumption documents, including the review and confirmation of any applicable pricing revisions needed.
- Assist Manager to train Financing Relationship staff on contract Amendment workflow process and preparation of standard templates.
- Responsible for review and approval all standard contract Amendments prepared by Financing Relationship Specialist team.
- Assist with managing the FIS leases with Service reconciliation process.
- Provide reconciliations for contracts reaching term and/or customers looking to buyout.
- Process modifications to Service billings as received and prepare notifications for customers of payment changes.
- Review of monthly reports to identify variances that could result in over/under billings and work with application teams to resolve.
- Oversee or complete leasing transactional documents for special programs or national customers with specialized terms, and review of all non-standard or manual document preparation by the Financing Relationship staff.
- Develop and maintain negotiated contract file identifying all negotiated customers with specialized pricing, terms, or negotiated provisions for Schedules or Schedule templates to be shared with all of FIS.
- Provide support for the Financing Relationship Specialist team, Lease Credit Risk, and FIS Field Representatives as needed, providing guidance on lease document templates, legal name verification, inactive entity status, and UCC filing issues.
- Assisting in development of FIS program and contract documents to ensure continued compliance with applicable policies and procedures, as well as legal and compliance rules and policies.
- Oversight of the FIS lease and finance document templates, insuring both Rapport generated templates and manual templates remain current.
- Oversight of legal approved common modifications, including periodic review with current legal team for necessary updates.
- Participate in leasing contract negotiation conference calls with attorney supporting FIS business group clients as well as customers outside counsel and opposing counsel.
- Manage the UCC continuation and termination process, reviewing to ensure all applicable filings are continued and review and processing of any termination requests.
- Defines policies and procedures for Master Lease standardization.
- Managing special projects and perform other related duties as assigned. Serve as back-up point of contact in the absence of Manager.
Job Requirements
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years Financial Contract Administration experience is required.
- Paralegal certificate or minimum 3 years Contract Negotiation experience required.
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills required.
- Ability to multi-task and desire to learn.
- Ability to shift priorities quickly and adjust work schedule based on workload and demands.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic math skills required.
Preferred:
- Associates Degree preferred or equivalent knowledge/education.
- Leasing and/or Financial Services industry experience preferred.
- Experience with leasing and mainframe inquiries a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position in this location is $70,469.00 - $95,132.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
