Job Description
The Senior Director, OLYSENSE Commercialization leads the global strategy and execution of commercialization efforts across Olympus’ GI Endoscopy OLYSENSE Solutions. This role owns the commercialization operating framework for ESE solutions — including annual commercial strategy, forecasting and performance reporting, launch execution, branding alignment, and customer success measurement.
The position is accountable for delivering a scalable commercialization model that drives revenue growth, adoption, and customer value across regions. Working closely with regional commercial leaders, solution teams, sales operations, and marketing, this leader ensures global consistency while enabling effective local execution.
The role emphasizes accountability, execution discipline, and continuous optimization to achieve defined business targets.
Job Duties
Commercial Strategy & Planning
- Own and execute the global commercialization strategy and annual marketing plan, including growth priorities, launch readiness, and adoption targets.
- Align commercial plans with ecosystem strategy, product roadmaps, and regional market needs.
- Define global commercialization frameworks and execution sequencing.
Forecasting & Performance Management
- Own global forecasting, pipeline visibility, and adoption tracking.
- Lead commercial planning with sales operations and regional teams.
- Maintain executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Drive data-based performance reviews and course correction.
Branding & Go-to-Market Alignment
- Maintain consistent naming, branding, and messaging frameworks.
- Partner with marketing to deliver global and regional enablement assets.
- Support GTM models, segmentation, packaging, and pricing alignment.
Customer Success
- Define customer success metrics tied to adoption and value realization.
- Manage global dashboards tracking customer utilization and trends.
- Coordinate improvements across regions and functions.
- Feed customer insights into lifecycle optimization.
Cross-Regional Commercial Leadership
- Serve as primary commercialization partner to regional teams.
- Remove execution barriers through cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead commercialization governance and performance cadence.
- Develop team capability to strengthen execution discipline.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or marketing; MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in medical tech/device.
- SaaS commercialization experience.
- Minimum of 7 years in sales, business development, product management, or marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven success in product launches and lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of medical device regulations and market dynamics.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional and global teams.
- High ethical standards and team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40%).
- Flexibility to work across time zones and non-traditional hours
- This is a remote role with a preference for candidates in the Eastern Time Zone to support regional and global team collaboration.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position is $178,821.00 - $268,232.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). This pay range represents the National Average of the range, and may vary depending on the location of the individual.
