Job Description
The Salesforce Business Analyst II is responsible for managing and maintaining the Salesforce CRM platform. The Salesforce Analyst II will focus on working with the business to gather, document and analyse internal workflow process in order to systematically enhance the interactions within CRM.
Job Duties
* Work within current processes to maintain Salesforce users, roles, security, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, customizations, report and dashboard development, data management, and support for AppExchange applications.
* Work with business partners to define and document current process and requirements.
* Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Salesforce system issues, operations and maintenance.
* Perform root cause analysis to understand key trends / issues and present remediation efforts to management.
* Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity and maintain data management best practices for system and integrations.
* Ensure proper security models are in place and maintained for data access.
* Create custom objects, formula fields, validation rules, page layouts, record types and custom buttons.
* Create workflows and approval processes.
* Perform basic data uploads using Salesforce Data Loader.
* Create basic flows using Process Builder and Visual Flow.
* Deploy basic configuration change sets from development to sandbox environments.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS / BA or equivalent experience in Sales Operations, Training, Technical Project Management or Business Analyst role preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience including: Sales Operations / training / support / business analysis / analytics environment is required.
* Proven ability to train users of a system.
* Ability to travel domestically if projects require.
* Ability to work flexible hours according to project demands.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience process development, optimization, training, or analysis preferred.
* Experience with Salesforce or other CRM highly preferred. Salesforce Administration experience and/or Certification is preferred.
* Project Management experience a plus.
* Experience in customizing and building Salesforce custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and approval processes is preferred. Experience with Apttus and/or Salesforce CPQ is preferred.
* Knowledge of adult-learning principles a plus.
* Strong data management abilities.
* Strong MS Excel and data transformation skills.
* Proficient in using Data Loader.
* Ability to be an evangelist for new processes and technology to our users, and be a champion of best practices, automation needs, compliance, Sales principles and efficiencies.
* Flexibility and adaptability are essential, must possess exceptional organizational skills.
