Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting the QA system and promoting quality improvements through activities that may include but not necessarily limited to (1) Performing daily inspection and testing of microscopy equipment sub-assemblies and parts. (2) Support quality; prioritize all receiving acceptance and inspection activities to achieve daily targets and insure the completeness and accuracy of all inspection activities. (3) Conduct material dispositions and periodic product and process audits. 

 

All other related duties as assigned.

Job Duties

* Receive, inspect, and disposition incoming returns.

 

* Triage, evaluate, and inspect equipment within the QA/QC guidelines.

 

* Coordinate and perform equipment modifications and value-added services to the finished goods inventory when work orders are created.

 

* Ability to follow detailed work instructions and update them as changes occur.

 

* Assist the supervisor maintain the document database adding new and updated information and removing outdated files, processes and procedures.

 

* Collaborate with the supervisor for the daily priorities and upcoming projects.

 

* Contribute ideas for continuous improvement (process and procedure improvement).

 

* Utilization of material handling equipment as needed.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* High school graduate or equivalent.

 

* Minimum 2 years of Quality Assurance experience.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:

 

* Effective written and verbal communication skills.

 

* Able to multitask well organized analytical logical practical.

 

* Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office.

 

* Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

 

* Basic understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

 

* Basic understanding of 5S.

 

* NetSuite experience.

 

* Sales Force experience.

 

* Visual experience.

 

* Previous Life Science disposition experience.
