Job Description

The Program Manager, People Experiences serves as an employee champion that manages the creation, implementation and ongoing maintenance of employee experience programs and projects aligned to compliment the employee experience pillars and our global company values. These initiatives will reinforce to employees and applicants that Olympus is a great place to work and build their careers. They maintain responsibility for evaluating metrics and outcomes including employee participation and satisfaction of programs in order to modify or change programming efforts and strategies. The successful candidate partners with various internal and employee facing stakeholders will be a key component in ensuring the success of these programs.

Job Duties

* Lead Employee Wellness through the management of the BeWell Wellness Program, communications strategy, and vendor management with various wellness partners.

* Partner with Cigna, internal Benefits team, and wellness vendor partners to determine, develop communication plan and implement annual strategy and goals. 

* Collaborate with benefits team and lead wellness efforts such as Healthy Incentive Challenges, annual Flu Shot Clinic, and Biometrics challenges.

* Responsible for employee giving and workday volunteering programs, partnering with Community Affairs in an effort to ensure alignment with community partners, corporate initiatives, and sponsorships.

* Partner with Corporate and HR Communications to market programs and outcomes to both internal and external audiences.

* Responsible for management and oversight of employee recognition and appreciation programs which includes vendor management, solving internal client issues and concerns related to the service awards program, education and training of HRBP’s on the service awards program, and ongoing promotion and awareness of programs.


* Reporting out metrics and data on all programs and surveys to identify areas of success, areas of improvement, and ideas for future implementation.

* Assist with the Global CEO Awards and Regional CEO Awards; evaluate other avenues to help further embed employee appreciation into the culture of Olympus.

* Support global and regional efforts to measure employee satisfaction and engagement,

* Lead efforts and project team in the Americas for Core Values Survey (every other year) and internal pulse surveys as needed.

* Help further the Olympus Employer Value Proposition and brand by leading efforts to develop and implement a formal approach to selecting Employer Designation Surveys and Awards in collaboration with Corporate Communications, Diversity and Inclusion leads and other key internal/employee facing stakeholders.


* Engage the Olympus Executive Committee Leaders, present in meetings, provide updates to their respective business teams, and/or presenting at business townhalls as requested.

* Identify ways to continuously engage leadership teams as needed.

Job Requirements



* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Education, Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred but not required. 


* Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in leading employee engagement programs such as Employee Recognition Programs, Wellness Programs, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, or Human Resources experience.




* Demonstrated strong project management and organizational skills are required with multi-tasking abilities.


* Collaborative team leader and relationship builder who believes in the power of a positive work environment.


* Tech savvy with strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential including public speaking, creating presentations via MS Power Point, experience utilizing social media, and other forms of online communication.


* Organizational agility, capable of engaging employees at all levels including executive leaders.
