Job Description

The Pricing Analyst maintains responsibility for supporting and managing the service contract business for non targeted IDNs and Key Accounts.  The incumbents responsibilities include managing the internal contract process, facilitating & seeking approvals on discounting and margin analysis as well as developing and delivering reports vital to effectively manage profitably of Master Service Agreements. He/ she will also ensure contract offerings are consistent and meet the needs of both internal and external customers. 

Job Duties

* Review and approve Master Service Agreement pricing and offerings.

 

* Serve as an adviser to Olympus Field Sales on pricing, business terms and solutions; to support profitable sales growth.

 

* Advise Olympus Field Sales on objection handling, alternative contract options, and/or value propositions.

 

* Apply analytical and financial understanding of Olympus Service Business in order to engage Sales and optimize service contract bottom and top line profitability.

 

* Use tools such as Qlik, SAP Business Objects, and Excel to allow effective analysis and understanding of price points included in a proposal.

 

* Understand and interpret Service Business goals and initiatives so that priorities can be balanced and timelines established.

 

* Ensure compliance with published service contract discounting approval policies and serve as an escalation point to business leaders.

 

* Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement.

 

* Work closely with Regional Service Directors (RSD) and Regional Solutions Managers (RSM) to coordinate field service activities that meet the needs and expectations of Master Service Agreement customers.

 

* Participate in contract launch meetings by developing and delivering presentations that support the roll out of Master Service Agreements.

 

* Participate in sales training to reinforce service sales strategies and compliance.

 

* Build dashboards with Business Intelligence tools such as the SAP Business Objects, Qlik, and Excel to visualize key performance indicators for specific contracts.

 

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor’s Degree

 

* Minimum 5 years in Product/Service Management or Contracts experience is required.

 

* Work flexible hours as required.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

 

* Experience in medical devices is preferred

 

* Ability to interact with field personnel, management and customers.

 

* Individual must possess a high degree of self-reliance, initiative and creativity.

 

* Must work well under pressure.

 

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

* High degree of personal organization.

 

* Strong analytical skills.

 

* Extensive experience with Microsoft applications. (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Access)

 

* Report development experience in Business Intelligence tools such as Qlik or SAP Business Objects is preferred.

 

* Relational database/SQL experience highly desired.
