Job Description

We are currently looking for a Project Management/Process Improvement Intern to join our Infection Prevention Center of Excellence (IP COE) team in our Center Valley, PA office (Note: Olympus does not provide relocation assistance or stipends). This program will run from May 19 – August 1, 2025. This is a full-time opportunity involving 35-40 hours per week at an hourly rate of $22.00.

You will contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects.

Job Duties

Some potential projects for this summer could include:

  • Projects to support:
    • Infection Prevention Standardization within Service Center.
    • Global Complaint handling process.
  • Additional ad hoc IP COE projects and project management-related support of IP COE initiatives related to infection prevention
  • Standardization of the project management best industry standard practices with the use of AI and available tools/templates

 

A typical day for you will include:

  • Collaborating with your supervisor and team to complete role-related assignments and projects.
  • Actively engaging in and adding value to meetings and discussions.
  • Engaging in other duties, as necessary.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited 4-year institution.
    • Preferred fields of study include Project Management, Business Operations, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or related discipline. 
  • Must complete sophomore year before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends.
  • Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship.**

  • Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).
  • Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance.
  • ​​​​​​​Ability to interpret and apply new information.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong, professional communication skills.
  • Skilled in presentation development and public speaking.
  • General curiosity and a desire to learn new material.
