Job Description

The Marketing Automation Specialist maintains responsibility for the planning and execution of all marketing automation and email marketing initiatives by leveraging best practices and emerging trends. An ideal candidate will be able to successfully coordinate between the several Medical Systems Group business units, as well as other internal teams (content marketing, IT, Salesforce enablement, global, etc.), to synthesize complex ideas into executable strategies, and articulate the value of campaigns, defined by KPIs and measurable results.

Job Duties

* Optimize and manage all functionality and data within existing Pardot account.


* Coordinate between third party tools, platforms, and internal teams to successfully configure integrations and automations within Pardot and MarTech systems.


* Plan, develop and execute all email marketing campaigns in partnership with appropriate departments and third parties.


* Perform day-to-day system maintenance tasks, including: list, folder, and data maintenance, performance monitoring, functionality QA checks of automation rules, lead scoring models, A/B tests, forms, etc.


* Collaborate with key content creation point of contacts (copywriters, designers, developers, integrated marketing communications, etc.) to develop content and advise on best practices.


* Test and analyze recipient segments, lists, and drip campaigns performance and subsequently presenting on performance and optimizing accordingly.


* Recommend new strategies, platform integrations, and workflow processes to increase the scalability and efficiency within the marketing organizations.


* Serve as primary all-around Pardot support and marketing automation consultative resource to internal teams and stakeholders.


* Perorm other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field. 


* Minimum of two years working in a marketing automation function, email experience required.

* Experience working extensively within Pardot required.

* Experience with Salesforce required.

* Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or comparable platforms required.

* Working knowledge of marketing funnel best practices required.



* Experience measuring impact and value of campaigns and touches, using best-practice analytics and testing protocols.

* Experience with B2B lead gen and multi-touch nurture streams preferred.

* Omni-channel marketing experience strongly preferred.

* Experience with web analytics preferred.

* Experience working in a regulatory field a plus.

* Basic understanding of HTML and CSS a plus.

* Strong oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to present concepts and results to all levels, including an executive-level audience.

* Exceptional project management skills.


* Ability to converse both technically and strategically.

* Ability to problem solve and consider multiple approaches to resolution.

* Ability to handle ambiguity and to deal effectively with a constantly changing environment.

* Must be able to comply within existing brand guidelines, tone, and legal standards.
