Job Description

At Olympus, we help make people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling, every day. We are currently looking for an intern to join our Market Intelligence Analytics team in our Center Valley, PA or Westborough, MA office. The fall internship cycle runs for approximately 11 weeks, from September - December 2023. This is a part-time opportunity involving 15-20 hours per week.

Job Duties

As an Olympus Intern, you will work with a department on projects related to your area of interest or study. You will contribute to our mission by helping your department complete key projects.

A typical day for you will include:

  • Support GMCI&A content management platform by facilitating the newsletter creation process, incorporate the insights from internal teams, editorial review of the content, and deployment of the newsletter.
  • Research, identify, and summarize BU-relevant competitive, market, or customer news and information across all regions.
  • Analyze and transform secondary data for reporting and visualization.
  • Create reports for procedure volume analytics using MS Excel, MS Power BI, or other analytical tools
  • Support small market research projects
  • Engage in other duties, as necessary.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 * Must be enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate degree program in data science, market research, finance, economics, or related field at an accredited 4-year institution

 * Must complete sophomore year before the internship begins and graduate after the internship ends.

 * Must possess excellent analytical and organizational skills.

 * Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 * Must be able to work well within a team and independently at times with limited guidance.

 * Must not now or in the future require immigration-related sponsorship.**

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 * Desire to gain experience in Market Research and data analysis 

 *  Demonstrated ability to balance academic and extracurricular commitments (i.e. work experience, clubs, volunteer activities, teams, etc.).

 *  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment.

 *  Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.

 *  Strong, professional communication skills.
