Job Description

The Global (Senior) Change Manager is responsible for supporting the Communications and Change Management Workstream of multiple workstreams in a multi-year transformation program within Olympus. Additionally, this role will develop and apply a consistent approach to Change Management at Olympus. They will support the creation and implementation of Change Management tools, training, and methodology for managing change at Olympus. This role also supports measurement of relevant Change Management metrics at the program and workstream levels. The Senior Change Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This position focuses on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

 

The Global (Senior) Change Manager is part of the Communications and Change Team within the transformation project. This team collaborates closely with the PMO Group. They also work directly with the leadership team of the transformation program, as well as the workstreams.

Job Duties

  • Design and deliver templates, guidelines, and training to enable a consistent approach to Change Management across the program, in collaboration with an external partner.
  • Fully immerse yourself into several program workstreams and give counsel and hands-on support on Change Management matters.
  • (Co)Facilitate workshops, working sessions and training for Leadership and Workstream leads and collaborators. 
  • Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Develop a framework to measure, monitor, and refine the effectiveness of change management efforts.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and prepare documentation for reporting on change effectiveness and as well as improvement initiatives that will add value to the program.
  • Leverage data and storytelling to enable informed change management approaches.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, speaking to stakeholders from all relevant business functions to assess the impact of proposed changes.
  • Translate business communication requirements into documentation and specific actions, working closely with relevant stakeholders to understand the changes needed to be made.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis, determining what training materials need to be created to support the implementation of changes.
  • Work closely with Corporate Communications, the Project Management Office, and other stakeholders.
  • Other responsibilities / duties as assigned. 

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field 
  • Minimum 7-10 years’ professional experience within in Change Management field
  • Proficient in Windows 2000, MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint, MS Project and other Microsoft Office applications 

 

Preferred:

  • Work experience in consultancy would be beneficial 
  • Preferred experience in a Global or Regional role within a large multinational organization, experience in the healthcare space preferred.
  • Good knowledge of change management techniques and Organizational Change Management 
  • Demonstrated ability to see the "big picture" and understand the strategic context of projects and change 
  • Encourages participation and opinion so the project can benefit from a variety of input, suggestions and concerns 
  • Generates and harnesses creativity in others to benefit the project 
  • Experience in running workshops, presentation and similar formats desired
  • Able to personally cope with ambiguity and change 
  • Experience and ability to operate smoothly with cross-cultural competency
  • PROSCI or other Change Management certification would be beneficial

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $101,523.00 - $142,132.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
