Job Description

The Executive Director, Omnichannel is responsible for taking both overall brand and business objectives and developing the strategic omnichannel approach to achieve those objectives. They will focus on delivering a consistent, personalized experience for customers across all channels and devices by combining customer data to provide a complete view of the customer across all touch points. This role will be required to develop a deep understanding of the market, key customers, and build close relationships with Olympus businesses /technical stakeholders to make strategic recommendations for targeted experiences. Their core responsibilities are to develop and support the delivery of omnichannel campaign proposals and plans to prospective and existing customers by partnering with the internal Olympus digital team to support the execution of multi-channel campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multichannel marketing – campaign design, planning, execution, and reporting. Candidate should proactively coordinate the orchestration between digital (e.g., email, SEO, SEM, Web) and traditional channels (e.g., field force, inside sales, Key Account Managers). They will also be responsible for leading the omnichannel team, including hiring, coaching, and providing continuous feedback to help the omnichannel team achieve its goals.

Job Duties

* Set ambitious and clear omnichannel vision and communicate ‘the story’ effectively to key stakeholders and the team. 
 

* Lead Omnichannel, Digital Marketing and Customer Experience teams through Go to Market Transformation.
 

* Own the end-to-end strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production.
 

* Convert input from customers  and sales into clear foundation for campaign planning.
 

* Analyze audience and market data to drive strategic recommendations.
 

* Develop innovative solutions to customer challenges and opportunities based on existing Olympus capabilities and products.
 

* Recommend tactical choices and strategic alignment of multiple tactics into integrated campaigns.
 

* Support customer’s strategic initiatives through alignment to Olympus portfolio strengths.
 

* Support the selling team to meet sales and profit objectives.
 

* Exercise strong decision making mandate from executive group to own product end-to-end.
 

* Work with IT Owner to build a modular and reusable solution.
 

* Work closely with group business units and sales teams to create and execute account marketing plans that drive market growth for top tier accounts and aligning account marketing and account sales plans.
 

* Creating and executing account specific awareness, demand generation and marketing plans.
 

* Measuring, analyzing, and reporting on MQL, SQL and conversion rates for top tier accounts and marketing ROI.
 

* Sharing best practices and leveraging insights from ABM to support overall business goals and strategies both locally and globally.

 

*  Providing input and guidance to operations and digital teams on CRM and marketing technology requirements needed to better enable ABM.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor's degree required.

 

* Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a data-centric business environment, with at least 5 years experience in team leadership.


* Minimum of 2 years’ experience with  commercial programs ( multi-channel / omni-channel ) incorporating both digital and personal channels.  

 

* Demonstrated successful experience working with advanced analytics / data science.

 

* Ability to travel up to 10%.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Master's degree or MBA preferred.

 

* Campaign management experience with some combination of email, website, search, social and/or digital media programs a plus.

 

* Experience with customer journey design a plus.

 

* Knowledge of GPOs, IDNs and inner workings of medtech customer and distributor partnerships a major plus.

 

* Knowledge of Salesforce platform.
