Job Description

The EUC & Print Service Lead is responsible for providing expertise and leadership in the design, configuration and management for global EUC (includes all end user computer systems and platforms, such as desktop, laptop and mobile devices as well as VDI technology) & Print services across the organization. This role will be responsible for developing the global strategy for EUC & Print, as well as overseeing the deployment and ensuring the provision of excellent level of services for end users across the organization, through collaboration with global/regional technical teams and external vendors.

Job Duties

* EUC & Print Engineering

  • Work closely with the EUC and Digital Workplace Lead to develop the global strategy and technology roadmap for EUC and Print, including deployment, sourcing and associated service management, ensuring alignment with the architectural vision and future needs of the organization.
  • Define and maintain a strategy for the physical devices.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and development of EUC and Print solutions in collaboration with global/regional engineers and service managers as well as external vendors.
  • Provide guidance on development of requirements for complex processes or system solutions for EUC and Print services.
  • Lead technical checks, analyzing errors and tracking solutions of errors, planning and performing upgrade and installation tests for assembly and validation.
  • Configure and manage security controls and software updates.
  • Decide in software upgrades for the entire environment of the organization.
  • Stay abreast with technological developments and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.


* Service Management

  • Plan and support the ongoing maintenance of EUC and Print, ensuring low down time and all the house-keeping jobs are executed effectively on daily, weekly, and yearly basis.
  • Lead the development of maintenance procedures.
  • Oversee the management of the EUC and Print environment, including inventory, license compliance, and software suitability.
  • Plan and test disaster recovery for the infrastructure. Develop methodologies and practices to manage and plan capacity based on projected growth rate to ensure performance remains at acceptable levels.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting/problem analysis on EUC and Print issues; act as an escalation point to resolve difficult, complex, and sensitive problems.
  • Define service standards and drive overall quality of service delivered to internal users and clients.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure delivery of services against SLAs, including device delivery and installation, toner deliver, etc.


* People Management

  • Lead, motivate, develop, and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred).

 

* Minimum 5 years’ experience of delivering EUC and Print services to large and global organizations.

 

* Minimum 5 years' experience leading teams, preferably teams across various nations.

 

* Extensive knowledge and experience in EUC Technologies.

 

* Experience in Service Desk, Deskside management processes.

 

* Experience in negotiating with and managing service providers.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

* Certification in ITIL, MCSE is a plus.

 

* Experience working across multiple geographies (or equivalent and related experience preferred).

 

* Demonstrable technical skills.

 

* Demonstrable business and tech acumen.
