Job Description
This role will be responsible for providing high level planning and support for various meetings, projects, and initiatives as directed by the Chief Medical Officer and SVP of Strategy & Operations. The candidate is responsible for organizing and prioritizing critical issues and gathering required to facilitate decision making on strategic initiatives for the Medical and Scientific Affairs (MSA) organization.
Job Duties
- Prioritize special projects that align with organizational goals and objectives. As appropriate, develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, milestones, and oversee their execution.
- Plan and coordinate global and regional meetings for MSA, such as Global Town Hall Meetings and annual FY Policy Kick-off Meetings, Division Alignment meetings, MSA leadership and extended leadership team meetings. Ensure all logistics are managed effectively, including the creation of detailed agendas, managing the creation of materials, and tracking of follow-up actions ensuring accountability and timely completion.
- Maintain a high-level understanding of all core Business Units including value drivers and key priorities and apply that knowledge to effectively manage communication around strategic and tactical initiatives consistent with objectives.
- Metrics Collection & Reporting: Establish a framework for collecting and analyzing key operational metrics objectives. Regularly monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Prepare and present insightful reports on operational metrics to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations as appropriate.
- Ensure the effective preparation, coordination, and facilitation of Executive Committee meetings and all Division Head-owned meetings for the Chief Medical Officer (objectives, agenda, outcomes and decisions requested).
- Act as representative in appropriate meetings to gather information, provide input and facilitate efficient decision making.
- Develop presentations for internal and external communications, supporting special projects aligned with organizational goals, as well as assisting MSA Leadership with travel logistics and stakeholder engagement. Communicate effectively and enhance global reporting and communication.

Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar field of study
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a corporate environment, preferably project/program management.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills
- Strong presentation skills (PowerPoint, data visualization, ensuring clarity and impact)
- Excellent time management skills.
- Organized and methodological working style
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Business and financial acumen
- Proactive and highly collaborative
- Ability to think broadly, while also focusing on the details.
- Availability for global hours on select days with early morning or late evening calls. Potential for travel is minimal (up to 10%).
Preferred:
- Professional experience in one of the following industries: MedTech, Life Science, Pharma.
- Experience operating in a global environment strongly preferred.

The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $137,913.00 - $206,869.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
