Job Description
The Cloud Architect Lead is responsible for developing the current and target architecture, future vision, and migration plan for the cloud architecture and the global ecosystem. This role will define and drive implementation of technology roadmaps, feeding into wider strategic decision making and provide clear leadership and concise program plan. Furthermore, the Cloud Architect Lead is responsible for strong relationships with Cloud vendors, engineers as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure keeping the cloud infrastructure highly available.

Job Duties
- Ensure that DU-developed products meet compliance requirements for US, EU, Japan and other key markets
- Manage regulatory compliance for launched products, in conjunction with Olympus' QA/RA team
- Support filings for health authorities for new product launches within the DU
- Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to DU development teams
- Build and conduct regular trainings to ensure DU employees maintain best practices in product development
- Respond to any audits or regulatory body enforcement inquiries from health authorities
- Maintain expert current knowledge of FDA, EMA and PMDA regulations, legislation, best practices, and guidelines related to QA/RA, monitor changes to applicable laws and regulations, identify impact to the DU, and in collaboration with other stakeholders, develop strategies to address
- Manage third party vendors as needed
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration (or equivalent and related experience preferred).
* Minimum of 7+ years' experience in working with Cloud technologies.
* Minimum 7 years' experience in managing staff, including work review, performance reviews and day-to-day coaching.
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Demonstrable technical skills.
• Demonstrable business and tech acumen.
* Strong understanding of common cloud technologies and principles.
* Familiarity with Cloud service providers, primarily Microsoft Azure.
* Flexibility to cover unsociable hours and peak periods at short notice.
* Certification as an AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or OpenStack Administrator Certification a plus (other cloud-related certification also a plus).
