Job Description

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining business performance reporting in support of the Accounts Receivable team within the Finance group.  The Billing Analyst is a key analytic and reporting resource within the team who contributes to the development of business-driven reports and analytics used to support senior leadership decision making.  The incumbent will serve as a project lead for the rollout of future analytical tools and be responsible for partnering with key internal stakeholders to review current business processes and systems to determine process and/or system enhancements needed to improve efficiency and remediate areas that give rise to billing discrepancies.

Job Duties

* Develop, execute and analyze reports to convey key data to management providing insight into root causes of billing issues and making recommendations on strategies to address and resolve discrepancies.

* Responsible for developing and producing accurate and timely reports- daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and at year-end. 

* Standardize reporting to maximize efficiency, create dashboards and other tools to visualize data so that it is easy to understand and influences others to take-action.

* Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support projects and reporting with the Finance and cross functional business teams.  

* Collaborate with all business areas to review current business processes and systems, determine process and/or system enhancements needed to improve efficiency and remediate areas that give rise to discrepancies.

* Drive Continuous improvement and lead cross functional teams in projects and other process improvement initiatives to streamline and improve Accounts Receivable process.  

* Provide secondary support for Cforia collections software system (Cforia) administration including but not limited to maintaining user accounts and user security testing and implementation of software upgrades and enhancements and interfaces to other systems.

* Develop in-depth of understanding of business groups data components sources and reconciliations to develop solutions and enable rapid response to changing and urgent information needs.

* Support training needs for Cforia Software and other technical applications to ensure that ongoing training is provided for new features and functionality.

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements



* Minimum of 4 years of Business analytics, reporting or equivalent experience is required.  


* Advanced proficiency with Excel and knowledge working with Access Databases.  




* Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. 


* Excellent communication skills with solid attention to detail and organization.


* Understanding of Compliance and JSOX regulations. 


* Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies desirable. 

* Strong analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.


* Able to meet established deadlines and manage several projects/tasks simultaneously. 


* Strong adaptability and capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
